This year I had my first set of nails done and it made me very happy. It was a random morning of scrolling through Facebook when I came across a lovely individual called Jordan. She had just qualified to do nails for other people. As such, I popped her a message to find out more.

SHE IS AMAZING. Here are some nail sets she has completed:

As someone who struggles with anxiety I was super nervous to meet Jordan for the first time and to have my first set of nails done. After thinking it over, I messaged her to explain that I was very nervous and anxious. She was so sweet. She said she was nervous too but would put the radio on when I arrive and have a cup of tea (with two sugars) ready for me. This made me feel so much more relaxed – knowing that we were both nervous for our first meet.

The time had come to meet.

Walking there nervously with my hand wrapped around my phone in case she sends me a message. We had to meet outside of a shop as the front of her building had maintenance going on. She was so sweet. From the minute we met we were smiling, laughing and chatting away.

All of my nerves and anxious feelings went away.

The nail station was set up, with a comfy chair for me to relax in and a lovely cup of tea made by her sweet boyfriend – THANK YOU!

The nail appointment went amazingly. It was so relaxing and fun. We clicked so well that we lost track of time. It wasn’t until my boyfriend messaged me asking where I was that we realised that we had been talking for TWO AND A HALF HOURS! Time flew by.

Here are the first set of nails that the lovely Jordan did for me:

I wasn’t sure what colour or style I wanted so she recommended a nude colour with glitter as we went along. A GREAT CHOICE!
This pinkish nude is absolutely gorgeous and the glittler completes the elegant look.
